In addition to all the rigorous training and exposure to the many challenges I overcame while working with some of the most elite military teams in the world, I’ve worked as a personal trainer since 2013. Garnering experience with clients ranging from stroke victims to collegiate athletes, to people just wanting to feel good. Whatever your goals, I’ll bring you the knowledge, tenacity, and compassion to help you find your way.

The Marine Corps taught me that what doesn’t challenge won’t change you. Life as a Marine is uncomfortable and often very difficult, but when you learn to focus on your values and the mission, then you find that you have resources of strength and resilience that you never thought possible. Let’s do this thing.

When you train with me, you will be uncomfortable. You will sweat. You may be sore. But you can have confidence that you are being challenged safely and within your abilities by a professional who has your needs and interests at heart. And after each session, you may find that you just gained a little more Honor, a little more Courage, and a little more Commitment!

MY BIO

Tristan has had a lifelong interest and passion for fitness and performance. As a youth he was involved in baseball, wrestling, football, and track and field. During this time he worked out at a local gym and learned an appreciation for hard work and off-season effort.

In 2007 he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving in Company L, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment as a machine gunner.

Serving two tours in Afghanistan and receiving the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in combat, he left the Marines in 2011 to study Kinesiology and Dietetics at Miami University. While in college he became involved in strongman and powerlifting, eventually competing at the national level in strongman in 2019, and now has a full training schedule preparing for upcoming powerlifting and strongman events.

Even though Tristan was once a warrior in the Marine Corps, he’s a humble man with an amazingly broad base of fitness knowledge and has been one of the most influential trainers I have ever worked with!
